What is the return policy?
All sales are final. Due to the special nature of our merchandise, we cannot accommodate refunds or exchanges. Please be sure of style, size, color, and any other specifications at the time of purchase.
Who can donate?
We accept new and like-new dresses and veils from designers, other bridal salons, and generous individuals.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, Fairytale Brides on a Shoestring is a nonprofit approved 501(c)(3) and your donation is tax deductible. You will be provided with a receipt for your tax return.
What condition does my dress need to be in?
Donated dresses must arrive clean. As a general rule, we accept dresses that are in new and like-new condition and are 5 years old and less. If you have not had time to clean your dress, a nominal fee of $100.00 will cover the cost and Fairytale Brides will have it cleaned!
Do you accept other types of donations?
Absolutely! Veils, sashes, tiaras, and all the extras that complete the look are acceptable donations.
How do I deliver my donation?
We prefer that you make an appointment with our front desk first before arriving to ensure that we are open! Bring your donation to the shop during regular shop hours Monday to Thursday after 2 p.m., and Saturday afternoons . It is always a good idea to call and confirm when you will be stopping by. We are staffed solely by volunteers and sometimes we may have a last minute change in our operating hours.
